WE’RE GOING TO AFRICA IN 2025 TO SERVE STUDENTS
Support Ghana Missions Trip in 2025
Empowering the Next Generation: Serving Students in Ghana
Every young person has incredible potential—unique gifts, talents, and dreams that can shape the future. That belief drives everything I do through WRITE. SPEAK. INSPIRE.™, and it’s the heart behind my upcoming mission trip to Ghana, Africa, with my church, Calvary’s Love.
In Ghana, I’ll have the honor of partnering with local communities to encourage and empower students. Through this mission, I hope to contribute to the important work already being done to equip young people with the tools and confidence to grow into their full potential.
This trip is about standing alongside these students, honoring their resilience, and offering meaningful support to help them flourish.
Why This Mission Is Different
For me, this isn’t about “helping” in the way we often imagine—it’s about mutual learning, growth, and partnership. The students we’ll be working with don’t need to be “saved.” They are already capable, bright, and full of promise. What they need, as all young people do, is connection, encouragement, and opportunities to build on the strengths they already possess.
This mission is a chance to walk alongside them, listening to their stories, learning from their perspectives, and contributing where we can to amplify the opportunities before them.
Your Opportunity to Partner
Your support in this mission is an investment—not just in me, but in the future of students in Ghana and the lasting impact they will have on their communities and beyond. When we invest in youth, we are planting seeds of growth that can transform families, communities, and even nations.

A Bigger Picture
This mission is just one example of what happens when we choose to believe in the next generation. It’s not about charity—it’s about partnership, collaboration, and empowerment.
I believe that when we come together to invest in young people—whether here at home or abroad—we create ripples of change that extend far beyond what we can see. This mission is a small part of that greater vision, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share in this work.
A Final Thought
Every student has a story worth celebrating and a future worth investing in. I’m honored to be part of a mission that honors those truths, and I hope you’ll join me in contributing to something bigger than ourselves. Together, we can inspire a brighter tomorrow.
With hope and gratitude,
Sharlene (Shar)
